Paul Wesley Klinger, Jr. was born on March 12, 1953 in Houston, Texas. He attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1975. He later enrolled at the South Texas College of Law, graduating in May, 1981 with a Doctorate degree in jurisprudence.
Mr. Klinger worked for a high powered personal injury law firm in Houston until 1985. During that time Mr. Klinger handled numerous personal injury cases both in the United States and internationally. He worked a maritime case that went to the United States Supreme Court and was victorious. Since that time Mr. Klinger has handled hundreds of personal injury cases.
In 1985, Mr. Klinger started the Klinger Law Office in Baytown, Texas. He has his own office building which is conveniently located four miles south of Interstate Highway 10 at exit 800.
From 1981 until the present, Mr. Klinger has dedicated himself to protecting the legal rights of Texas workers and Texas families. This extends to workers and families exposed to sand (silicate dust), asbestos and welding fumes.
Mr. Klinger is board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Houston Bar Association.
